ROSIE'S MAYONNAISE DRESSING Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon mustard(dry or regular)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 4 beaten eggs
  • 1 tablespoon butter
Directions
Mix in top of double boiler, sugar, flour, salt and mustard. Then add water, vinegar and then the beaten eggs. Cook until the mixture thickens, beating constantly. Add 1 T butter. Will keep indefinitely in refrigerator.
