LEMON BASIL PASTA Recipe

Ingredients
  • 8 ounces Linguine or other favorite pasta
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dried basil leaves
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and return pasta to pan.

In small bowl, combine butter, lemon juice, basil and garlic powder. Toss with cooked pasta. Sprinkle cheese over pasta and serve immediately.

VARIATIONS: Toss in 2 cups of cooked, cubed chicken or 1 pound cooked shrimp for a main dish.
