GREEN TOMATO RELISH Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 gallon green tomatoes, peeled
  • 6 onions, chopped (medium)
  • 1 quart Vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 pint sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cloves
  • 1 tablespoon allspice
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon red pepper
Directions
Cook until thick. (Don't get too thick or it will mold). Do not let it stick to pan. It will burn. Stir often to prevent sticking.

EDITOR'S NOTE: Fill jars, cap and process 15 minutes in hot water bath to insure seal.
