Almost No Fat Banana Bread Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 cup mashed banana
  • 1/4 cup applesauce
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°. Lightly grease an 8" x 4" pan. In a large bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon. Add egg whites, bananas, and applesauce; stir until combined. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake in preheated oven for 50-55 minutes, until toothpick comes out clean. Turn out onto a wire rack and allow to cool before slicing. **Bread does freeze well for 1 month**
