Super easy and incredibly delicious, you'll never go back to plain mashed potatoes. These are requested at every holiday meal, even by people who don't care for regular potatoes. Enjoy!

Ingredients
  • 1 15.3 ounce box mashed potato flakes
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 16 ounces sour cream, softened
  • 6 cups water
  • 12 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 teaspoons garlic salt
  • 2 teaspoons onion salt
  • 2 cups milk
  • Paprika

  • Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease 13x9 pan or dish with butter, set aside. Heat water, butter, garlic salt, and onion salt in a 6 quart Dutch oven. Remove from heat and add cream cheese, milk, and sour cream, stirring until cream cheese is dissolved.
  • Stir in potato flakes, mixing until all ingredients are well combined. Spread mixture into prepared pan.
  • Sprinkle with paprika and bake 1 hour or until edges are bubbling and golden brown.
