Seared Tuna Recipe

  • 1 Fresh tuna steak or filet
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon grated sushi wasabi or paste
  • dash of lemon juice
  • dash of lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
Slice tuna in to bite size pieces, and no more than 1/4 of an inch thick.

Mix all of the ingredients above in a bowl. Use a dash of the lemon and lime juice, add fish and gently toss to marinate. Let stand for 5 minutes.

Place marinated fish pieces in a hot skillet. Hint spray skillet with non-stick spray first. Sear each side of fish until light brown. Cooking time can be increased or decreased to your liking. This tastes even better if done over an open flame. Serve hot. Enjoy!
