Zucchini Apple Pie Recipe

Zucchini baked in pie tastes just like apple pie. Quick and easy to make. My grandsons would not even taste it if I told them it was made with zucchini squash.

Ingredients
4 cups zucchini , sliced, cooked
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 1/4 cups sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 1/2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 dash nutmeg
3 tablespoons flour
Directions

Add the zucchini to other ingredients and mix well in cooking pot. It will be runny, but that is okay.
Dump the filling into a 9 inch crust and dot with butter.
Add the top crust & bake at 400 degrees for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
