With the weather starting to cool down, warm up with some of these cozy and delicious recipes. Fall is the time of the year when we start to think of some of our favorite warm and comforting foods. Cut lengthwise, down to the pit, all around the avocado. Twist each half in opposite directions to separate halves. Carefully hit the pit with a knife hard enough for the knife to stick. Twist the knife and the avocado should pop out. view more.

A great vegetable for any time of year. This can easily be made in advance and warmed up just before serving. Be sure to toss the bacon and almonds after so they don't get soft.
