Crispy Crossroad Chicken Recipe

Why did the chicken cross the road? No one really knows, but you can think it over while enjoying this chicken dinner. Garlic, lemon, and olive oil marinade make this chicken moist and crispy.

  • 2 pounds Chicken breast (6 pieces)
  • 8 cloves Garlic, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil

Wash chicken breasts and pat dry. Place in large resealable plastic bag. Add chopped garlic, lemon juice, oil, and salt and pepper to taste. Marinate for 1 hour or more.

Preheat half the grill to medium high. Oil grill rack with spray olive oil before placing on preheated grill. Place breasts on heated grill and brown on both sides for 10 minutes. Move all chicken pieces to side of grill without heat while keeping medium heat on the other side. Close cover and continue to cook for 10-15 minutes. Check chicken for doneness by piercing skin with tip of knife. Chicken is done when juices run clear.
