Grilled Adobo Chicken Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds chicken pieces
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, pressed
  • 2/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 bay leaf
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

For marinade, in a small bowl, combine vinegar, garlic, soy sauce, bay leaf and black pepper.

Place chicken in a resealable bag; pour marinade over the top. Seal and refrigerate for several hours.

Preheat grill to medium heat. Remove chicken from marinade.

Grill chicken 4-6 minutes per side, depending on thickness, until no longer pink in the middle.

Great chicken marinade that is so easy and has so few ingredients. An Asian style grill flavor, but could also be done in the oven on broil, if off season. Perfect served atop a bed of rice.
