Cheesy Potatoes Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds hash browns (thawed)
  • onion, diced
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (10 3/4 oz. can)
  • 16 ounces sour cream
  • 8 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
  • salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 1 cup potato chips, crushed (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted (optional)
Container: 9- x 13-inch baking dish
Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 375ºF.
  • Combine all of the ingredients (except the optional ingredients) and put into a 9- x 13-inch baking dish. Bake for 1 hour.

    Optional: Combine the crushed potato chips and the melted butter and spread on top of the casserole during the last 15 minutes of the baking time.
