Walnut Corn Dip Recipe

Directions
  • Cut corn from the cob.
  • Combine all of the ingredients together in a mixing bowl.
  • Refrigerate until ready to serve or overnight if preferred.
  • The longer it sits the more the flavors combine.
  • Adjust salt and pepper to taste.
Container: medium mixing bowl
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Serving Description: makes approximately 3 cups
Ingredients
- 1 package (8 oz.) cream cheese - softened
- 8 ounces allouette herb cheese spread
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 3 teaspoons ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper - or to taste
salt and pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 cobs of fresh sweet corn - cooked
- 1 cup toasted walnuts - finely chopped
- 1/3 cup onion - finely chopped
- 1/2 cup red pepper - seeded and finely chopped
tortilla chips or sliced baguettes to serve along side
