Cinnamon Buns 7 Recipe

Ingredients
  • Basic Biscuit Dough
  • 2 cups Sifted self-rising flour
  • 1/4 cup shortening
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Filling
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Glaze
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons Water
Directions
Mix flour with shortening and sugar until it resembles coarse crumbs. Blend in milk to make a soft dough. Turn out on lightly floured board and knead lightly. Roll dough thin. Brush with 1/4 cup melted margarine and then sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Roll up and slice; put on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 450° until brown. Mix glaze and pour over baked buns while they are hot.
