Flaky Caramel Rolls Recipe

These caramel rolls are made with flaky buttermilk biscuits to you don't have the trouble of thawing frozen bread dough. The ice cream in the caramel sauce gives them a creamy caramel flavor.

Ingredients
  • 3 tubes buttermilk biscuits
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup ice cream
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • Quarter each biscuit. Shake in mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
  • Place biscuit pieces in well greased 9x13" pan.
  • Melt butter, ice cream and brown sugar. Pour caramel over top.
  • Bake 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees F. When done, invert on serving tray.

"Made these this weekend and they were a lot easier to make with the biscuits rather than using frozen bread dough. I did not think they were as good as when I use the bread dough though. But they were good and my kids ate them right up. They are a good alternative when you don't have time to deal with the frozen bread dough."
