Ingredients
2 cans black- eyed peas (drained) (16 ounce cans)
1 pound hamburger (lean)
1 1/2 cups chopped onion
1 Green Bell Pepper (chopped)
1 can whole tomatoes (squash them up to juice them)
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Directions
Cook and drain hamburger and onions, tomatoes and the juice from the tomatoes, green bell pepper, salt and pepper. Add add black eyed peas and cook to boiling, then turn down and let simmer for a half an hour. Stir occasionally. Serve with cornbread.
