BBQ Sauce (Good for Beef or Pork Sandwiches & Ribs) Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 package dry onion soup mix
  • 1 cup water or beef broth (1/2 cup for ribs)
  • 2 cups catsup
  • 1 cup Open Pit
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt or powder
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
Directions
Not necessary to cook before putting on meat but can if you want.

For Beef sandwiches, cut up a couple large chuck roasts and cook in crock pot on low all day until meat shreds easily. Won't need any liquid in crock pot, it will make it's own juice. Drain juice and put meat back in crock pot. Stir in BBQ sauce and heat through.

For Ribs: cook ribs in crock pot all day on low. Drain grease. Return ribs to crock pot and cover with BBQ sauce and heat until warm . Can freeze extra sauce for next time.
