HOMEMADE ICE CREAM MIX Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup white flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 7 1/2 cups milk
  • 7 eggs
  • 4 cups heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla
Directions
Make this as you would a pudding from scratch either on the stove or in the microwave. Be careful to watch that it doesn't burn in the pan (stir often) or overcook in the microwave (the consistency falls apart). Put mixture in ice cream maker. This recipe is for a 5 quart ice cream maker.
