Easy Macaroni and Cheese Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 cups macaroni or pasta shells
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 6 ounces shredded Cheddar cheese or 6 slices American cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Cook and drain pasta as directed on package

Place drained pasta back in saucepan. Add butter, milk, cheese, salt, mustard and pepper. Stir until mixed.

Cook over low heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until cheese is melted.

Homemade macaroni and cheese that won't have you wishing you used the boxed variety. Creamy cheesy macaroni that will please everyone. Use a bunch of pasta shapes to delight the kids.
