Peanutbutter Texas Sheet Cake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 cup peanutbutter
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • ICING
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 pound powdered sugar
Directions
Heat butter, peanut butter, water and oil in saucepan over low heat. Bring to boil and set aside. In a large mixing bowl, cream together flour, sugar, eggs, baking soda, vanilla and milk. Combine two mixtures and mix well. Pour into lightly sprayed jelly roll pan (10X15) and bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Prepare icing by boiling ingredients and cooling. Add powdered sugar, mixing well by hand. Spread over warm cake.
