Chocolate Swirl Coffee Cake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/3 cup flaked coconut
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons margarine, melted
  • 2 cups Bisquick baking mix
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips, melted
Directions
Preheat oven to 400°. Grease and sugar an 8X8 inch pan and set aside. Mix coconut, nuts, 1/4 C sugar and 1 T. of the melted margarine in small bowl and set aside. In a mixer beat Bisquick, 1/4 C sugar, milk, remaining butter and egg, increase speed and beat vigorously for 30 sec. Spread in pan. Spoon chocolate over batter; lightly swirl batter several times. Sprinkle with coconut mixture. Bake 20-25 min until lightly browned and cake tests clean with toothpick.
