Swedish Pineapple Cake 5 Recipe

Ingredients
  • Cake
  • 1 can Pineapple (20 ounce can)
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup coconut (optional)
  • 1 cup pecans or walnuts, chopped
  • Frosting
  • 1 package cream cheese, softened (8 ounce pkg)
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup pecans or walnuts, chopped
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°

Mix all ingredients from pineapple through nuts. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes. Combine ingredients for frosting from cream cheese through butter. Beat until smooth. Make sure cake is cool and then frost. Top with nuts.
