Boiled Frosting Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon light corn syrup
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
Directions
Boil sugar, water and syrup until soft ball, 240. Beat egg whites until stiff and slowly pour in sugar & syrup mixture. Beat until stiff and add vanilla and cream of tartar.
