Ingredients
  • 1 stick butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 2 cups milk
  • FROSTING:
  • 1 stick butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 pound powdered sugar

Bring butter, peanut butter, water and oil to a boil. Add remaining ingredients. Pour into well greased and floured jelly roll pan or a 9x13" pan. Bake at 375° for 20 minutes.

For frosting, cook peanut butter, butter and milk to a boil. Remove from stove, add vanilla and powdered sugar; cream well. Frost cooled cake.
