"Beyond delicious. How can a double recipe vanish in only a day? These will be your favorite lemon bar recipe not only because it's fast and easy, but because it's absolutely scrumptious. I added some toasted coconut to the top for some color and texture but i like them just as instructed in the recipe. Thank you for the wonderful share!"

"The filling was very good and not to sweet. But the crust made out of cake mix tasted artificial and a little like chemicals. I will make the filling again but put it over handmade lemon shortbread."

"Delicious! The only thing I changes was I used almond extract since I was out of vanilla extract. I think I would do the same thing next time."

"ChrissyMonster, you are correct, 1/2 lemon grated refers to the zest from half a lemon. I have made this recipe many times. Everyone always loves these bars."
