Homemade Banana Pudding Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Flavoring
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 stick butter
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 bunch ripe bananas, peeled and sliced
  • 1 box vanilla wafers
Directions
In medium/large round glass bowl, layer vanilla wafers and sliced bananas, repeating. Reserve 10-12 wafers for topping. In a medium saucepan, add all other ingredients. Mix well. Bring to a boil on medium heat, stirring continually. Remove from heat when mixture just begins to thicken. Pour pudding mixture over layered bananas and wafers. Add reserved vanilla wafers to top.
