Combine eggs, raisins, and vanilla together. Let stand one hour. Set aside.
Cream together, Crisco, brown sugar, and white sugar.
Sift flour, salt, soda, and cinnamon, then add to creamed mixture. Mix well.
Add eggs, raisins, oats, and nuts. Dough will be stiff.
Roll dough in small balls, flatten between palm of hand, place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 350° until light brown.
