Beer Bread Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 can beer - at room temperature
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 cups flour - self rising
Directions

1.5 hrs
  • Add all ingredients in a large bowl.
  • Mix well by hand.
  • Pour into a greased loaf pan.
  • Bake at 350° F for 30 minutes.
  • Then 325° F for 30 more minutes.
  • Top does not brown.
  • Last 10 minutes of baking, brush margarine across the top.
