EASY SUGAR COOKIES 6 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup butter or margarine softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
Directions
Mix sugar and butter. Then beat in egg until light and fluffy. Add flour and soda.

Divide dough in half. Shape in roll. Wrap in waxed paper and put in refrigerator for about 1 hr or until chilled.

Cut in slices about 1/4 inch thick and place on ungreased pan.

Bake at 375° for 10-12 minutes or until edges show slightly brown
