Honey Barbecue Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 cups ketchup
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 dash of hot sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste

  • Bring all of the ingredients to a boil in saucepan.
  • Reduce the heat and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or until the sauce slightly thickens; stir often.
  • Great on ribs or chicken. Yield: 2 1/2 cups.
