Fresh fruit flavor highlights this thick, sweet ham glaze that blends nicely even with poultry.
Apricot Orange Ham Glaze Recipe (+)
Directions
Purée apricots in a blender.
In a sauce pan, combine puréed apricots, brown sugar, mustard, 2 tablespoons of orange or lemon juice, and 1/4 cup of reserved apricot juice. Cook mixture over medium low heat, stirring frequently, for 7 to 8 minutes.
Spread glaze on ham during the last 30 minutes of baking. Apply again during the last 15 minutes if desired.
Serve extra glaze as a sauce for the meat when it is served.
*Orange juice can be substituted

1 1/2 teaspoons dry mustard (more if you prefer a stronger flavor)

2 tablespoons orange juice or lemon juice

1/4 cup apricot juice or orange juice
