This all-time favorite can be seasoned to taste to create a mildly flavored dish or one that is extra hot for those who enjoy some additional spice.

Homemade Chili Recipe (+)

Directions

Brown onion, garlic and green pepper in 1 tablespoon of oil until soft.
Add meat and brown. Drain off any excess fat. Add the rest of the ingredients, bring to a boil, and then reduce heat and simmer 35-40 minutes.
Season to taste. Serve hot.

-		1 clove garlic, minced
-		1 medium onion, chopped
-		1 green pepper, chopped (opt)
-		1 pound lean ground beef (chili meat)
-		15 ounces chile flavored beans
-		15 ounces diced tomatoes
-		6 ounces tomato paste
		chili powder, salt and pepper (to taste)
