GRAPEFRUIT SWEET POTATO BAKE Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 can sweetened grapefruit sections (1 lb can)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 can 1 lb.2 ounce sweet potatoes or equivalent of fresh sweet potatoes, cooked until tender
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
Directions
Drain grapefruit. Combine juice with brown sugar, salt and cinnamon. Arrange sweet potatoes and grapefruit sections in 1-1/2 qt. casserole; pour on syrup mixture. Dot with butter. Bake in 350° oven 30 minutes. Serves 6. Serve on platter alongside pork chops.
