Swedish Meatballs 68 Recipe

  • 1 bread crumbs
  • 1/3 chopped onion
  • 1/4 chopped bell pepper
  • 1 1/2 ground beef
  • 1/2 ground Pork
  • 1 Salt
  • 1 milk
  • 1 egg
  • dash of garlic salt
  • 1 sour cream
  • 2 Chili Sauce
  • 1 grape jelly (10 ounce jar)
  • 1/2 water
Sauce: stir in bottles of chili sauce, grape jelly and water. Cook on low heat until thoroughly mixed. Stir in bread crumbs, onion, bell pepper, ground beef, ground sausage, salt, milk, egg and garlic to form meatballs. Save sour cream. Shape into balls the size of a walnut. Cook thoroughly in skillet; then drain. Place meatballs into sauce. Just before serving, stir in sour cream. Can be served by themselves, or over rice, noodles or creamed potatoes.
