GERMAN COLESLAW Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 heads Green Cabbage
  • 1 onion, chopped (medium)
  • 1 green pepper chopped (medium)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1/2 cup White or Cider Vinegar
  • 1/2 cup salad oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Directions
In large bowl, place cabbage, onion and green pepper. In small saucepan, combine sugar, vinegar and oil, bring to a boil. Immediately pour over vegetables. Add salt, pepper and seeds, mix well. Cover and refrigerate 12 hours or longer.
