Apple Crisp 198 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 cups sliced peeled apples
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions
Place apples and water in 10x6 inch baking pan. Sift flour, sugar, cinnamon, and salt into bowl. Cut in margarine until it resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes or until apples are tender. If using juicy apples, water may be omitted.
