Pickled Wieners Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups Vinegar to 2 cup Water
  • 1/2 box Mustard Seed
  • 2 onions, sliced thin
  • 1/2 dozen Hard Boiled Eggs, peeled
  • 1/2 jar Peppers and juice, the more the hotter
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • Paprika
  • Pinch of Black Pepper
  • 2 - 3 lbs Wieners
Directions
Layer wieners, eggs, and onions in a 1 gallon jar. Put peppers in at random until jar is full. In a large sauce pan put remaining ingredients. Heat over low heat until warm to the touch. Pour over, room temperature, wieners until jar is full. Let stand for at lease one week in cool place. The longer they stand the better and hotter they will be.
