Slow Cooker Pot Roast Recipe

Ingredients
  • Shoulder or blade roast
  • 1 package brown gravy mix
  • 1 package onion mushroom soup mix
  • 1 tablespoon ranch dip mix
  • 2 cups liquid (water or beef broth)
Directions
Place roast in slow cooker. Blend mixes with liquid and pour over roast. Cook roast as directed for your slow cooker. Carrots, potatoes, onions and mushrooms can be added. You will need to check directions for your slow cooker to see if they can be added in the beginning or at a later time. If gravy is too thin when you removed the roast and vegetables, you can whisk in a mixture of cornstarch and water and stir until thickened.
