Sausage and Rice Casserole 8 Recipe

Ingredients
1 cup Bisquick
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 pound sausage
2 cups long-grain rice
3 1/4 cups water
2 teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons butter
Directions
Preheat oven to 350. Mix together Bisquick, cheese and sausage in a large bowl. Mold pieces of sausage mixture into about 1 inch balls. Place in an ungreased baking pan and bake for about twenty minutes or until brown and slightly crusty. While sausage is cooking, put rice, water, salt and butter into a large sauce pan. Heat on high until water comes to a boil. Stir, turn heat to low, and cover the pan. Simmer without lifting the cover for 14 minutes. When rice and sausage are both done, combine the two in a serving dish.
