Ingredients
2 pounds frozen hash browns
1 pint sour cream
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups meat, such as diced ham or chopped sausage (optional)

Directions

Mix all of the ingredients in a large bowl.
Pour the mixture into the crock pot, cover, and turn the heat setting to low.
Allow it to cook overnight (8 to 10 hours), and it will be ready to serve at breakfast time.
