Yesterday when I responded to "Love Food" about Fox's Lobster House, I forgot to mention a terrific restaurant in Portsmouth, NH where I had lunch a couple of times while I was staying in town. It's called "Portsmouth Brewery" located downtown on Market Street. The food is fantastic. I had the best seafood chowder I've ever eaten and I had a really tasty crab rangoon dip with fried wontons as an appetizer. The restaurant features all kinds of unusual beers from around the world. The place is a really popular lunchtime spot for business people and tourists (like me). If you're ever in Portsmouth, NH, give it a try.

Cooking Oils
Aren't Olive, Canola, Sunflower, etc., all different kinds of "vegetable" oils? My daughter has a recipe that calls for "vegetable oil" and is concerned that the oils we have in the cupboard (above) are unacceptable.

Dehydrated Tomatoes
Has anyone dehydrated tomatoes before? I was wondering how to dry them. Do you just dry the tomatoes or do you have to season them or do anything special to them before you dry them? I have had them before and they are great to snack on.
