Hawaiian Grilled Pork Chops Recipe

Add flavor to those pork chops by marinading them with this flavorful sweet and savory marinade. The grilled pineapple adds a little extra to the pork. Serve it atop a bed of wild rice.

Ingredients
  • 6 thick pork chops
  • 1 can pineapple slices, undrained (20 oz can)
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup onion, minced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar

Drain pineapple, reserving 1/4 cup juice. Set pineapple aside.

In a small bowl, combine reserved pineapple juice, soy sauce, oil, onion, garlic and brown sugar, mixing well.

Pour mixture over pork chops, cover and marinate in refrigerator at least 2 hours.

Remove chops from marinade. Grill over medium heat 30-35 minutes, turning frequently.

Place a pineapple ring on each chop during the last few minutes of cooking time.
