Old Fashion Boiled Custard Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
Directions
Heat milk and salt over low heat. Add spices in with egg yolk. Add flour and stir until thickened and smooth. Do not boil.
