Caramel Corn (hulless popcorn) Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 stick oleo (1/2 cup)
  • 1/2 cup lite Karo syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon soda
  • 8 ounces hulless puff corn
Directions
Put brown sugar, oleo and lite Karo in pan and boil until bubbly. Remove from stove and add baking soda to syrup. Stir until dissolved. (creamy looking). Pour over 8 oz. of puff corn in large pan and stir until corn is covered. Put in oven at 250 for 45 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. I use my enamel roaster bottom. To cool spread on wax paper on a cookie sheet. When cool put in airtight container or bag. It breaks apart easily. Enjoy!
