Baked Egg Nog French Toast Recipe

Prepare this on Christmas Eve and pop it in the oven while the kids are opening presents on Christmas morning!

Ingredients
  • 12 slices Loaf French Bread (day old best)
  • 8 eggs
  • 1/2 cup Egg Nog
  • 1/4 cup Half and Half
  • 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons Powdered Sugar
  • 1 package Non Stick Spray
  • 2 teaspoons Butter

  • Slice bread into 12 1/4 inch pieces
  • In bowl mix eggs, egg nog and Half and Half.
  • Spray 9x18 baking dish generously with non stick spray.
  • Place bread in pan, pour egg mixture over bread, sprinkle lightly with nutmeg, cover with plastic wrap and refridgerate over night.
To cook:
  • Preheat oven to 365, place pan in oven for 20-40 mins or until golden and bubbly. Remove from oven and spread with butter and sprinkle powdered sugar. Enjoy!
