Grilled or roasted chicken using a can of beer.

  • 1 med size whole uncut chicken
  • 1 ounce soft butter or olive oil
  • dash salt
  • dash pepper
  • 1 can of beer
Rinse chicken and clean out center cavity. Pat dry with paper towel and rub down with butter or olive oil. Sprinkle outside with salt and pepper. Place chicken over freshly opened can of beer. Stand chicken balanced on can in your preheated grill or standing in roasting pan in 350 degree oven for 1- 1 1/2 hours according to size of chicken and desired doneness. Beer will baste and flavor chicken from the inside during cooking process.
