Ingredients

1 package brats
1 bulb onion
1 package brat buns

Directions

Grill brats as per package instructions.
While brats are cooking, grill the onion in a small aluminum pan with a little butter. Grill until they are slightly charred.
Add the grilled onions to the brats when serving.

"My husband loves brats on the grill. When I saw this recipe I thought I would really surprise him with the grilled onions. I don't like onions so I hardly ever serve them. He couldn't believe I even thought to serve them and having them grilled made it even more of a surprise. Thanks for the idea!"
