Peach Sauce on Grilled Chicken Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons peach gelatin powder
  • 1 medium fresh peach, peeled and finely chopped
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
  • optional soy sauce for marinate
Directions
Marinate chicken breasts with soy sauce 15 minutes before grilling. In saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, and water until smooth. Bring to a boil over medium heat; cook and stir for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in gelatin then peaches; mix well. Set aside half for serving with the meal. Grill chicken on low to medium heat 3-5 minutes on each side. Baste chicken with peach sauce and continue grilling till juices run clear from the chicken. This recipe can use canned peaches when fresh is not an option.
A treat to sweeten up a plain meal.
