Wrapped Chicken Recipe

Crescent rolls and swiss cheese wrapped around a tender chicken breast. This is baked in a thick and creamy soup mixture to perfect it. Similar to chicken and dumplings but all bundled up.

  • 8 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 can crescent rolls
  • 8 chicken breasts tenders
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can chicken broth

Put 1 piece of cheese in 1 crescent roll and wrap around 1 chicken breast tender. Repeat for remaining chicken.

Place wrapped chicken in a 9x13 inch baking pan.

Mix cream of chicken soup and chicken broth and pour over chicken.

Bake at 350° for 45 minutes, or until lightly brown on top, making sure chicken is cooked all the way through.

"I love crescent rolls and was a little leary of them cooked in the soup mixture. It turned out delicious! The crescent rolls were soft and slightly doughy in the soup, but got crisp on the top. The chicken was tender!"
