Breakfast Pies Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 pound bulk pork sausage, browned and drained
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 unbaked pie shells
  • 6 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/3 cup chopped red bell pepper
  • 1/3 cup chopped green pepper
Directions
In a large bowl, combine sausage and cheese. Place half of the mixture in each pie shell. In a large bowl, combine eggs, milk, onion and peppers. Pour half into each shell over sausage. Bake pies at 350° for 55-60 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center come out clean. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting.
