GRANDMA'S RICE MUSH Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 cup instant rice
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon-sugar
Directions
Heat 1 cup milk and salt to boiling.

Add rice. Put lid on saucepan and remove from heat. Let stand 5-8 minutes.

Then add 2 cups milk and heat again to boiling.

Add the beaten egg, milk and cornstarch. Cook just until thickened like pudding, stirring constantly.

Pour onto plate and serve with small dabs butter. Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar.
